TRX Review

How the TRX Suspension Trainer Changed My Life

How do I do a review of a piece of strength training equipment called the TRX Suspension Trainer that has changed my life, without it sounding like a commercial?

That is my dilemma. I want to convey how wonderful the TRX Suspension Trainer is, but I don’t want this TRX Review to sound like an ad or like all the other reviews trying to sell the product. I really believe in this home gym equipment and I want as many people to benefit as possible.

My weight training equipment background

I have bought it all, and tried it all. I have had the various “bow” machines and the “flex” machines. I have had weight stack machines, free weight benches and so many others that I can’t even remember them. While I did get some results with these machines, I never got the kind of body I was after. They all had their own specific limitations and I grew tired of using them because I wasn’t seeing results. I felt like a failure and I thought there was something wrong with me or that I was using the machines incorrectly.

Body weight exercise

I then discovered body weight exercise and I got much better, more consistent results. You know, push-ups, dips, pull-ups, chin-ups, squats all using nothing more than my body weight for resistance. It was also freeing that I didn’t need some big, bulky dust magnet machine to get a great workout.

I discovered the TRX

When you are doing consistent workouts, you are always looking for ways to challenge yourself further and get even better results. I was happy with my progress, but I knew I could do more. That is when I discovered the TRX and my life changed. Yes really. The first thing I did was to sell all my obsolete exercise machines on Craigslist.

The TRX was invented by a Navy Seal and is used by many professional athletes such as Drew Brees, Reggie Bush and Ladanian Tomlinson. If it was good enough for them, I had to try it.

The TRX combines your body weight and gravity to deliver a challenging, effective (like nothing you have experienced before) workout. The foot straps allow exercises that are normally done on the ground or from your hands to take on a whole new dimension called Suspension Training. With your feet in the straps and elevated off the floor, you can do exercises like abdominal jackknives, abdominal pikes, mountain climbers and suspended lunges to name a few. In fact, there are hundreds of exercises for your full body that you can do on the TRX.

This is a full gym worth of exercises right in a small, convenient package you can even take with you. Now you can use it in your hotel room, outside, or anywhere. And the best part, the TRX works for beginners, intermediate and advanced exercisers so it will work for anyone.

How about you?

Are you ready this time to really get into shape? Are you ready to finally lose weight? Believe me, I know how you feel. You have tried the machines that the late night tv ads promise will transform you. They don’t. You have joined a gym only to never go. You may have even tried diet pills (please don’t) and again, they all fall short. This is your lucky day, just like my lucky day. You have discovered the TRX Suspension Trainer and you will never be the same.

Guys, if you want to bulk up you can do it with the TRX. If you want to lose weight, and get toned, you can do that too. If you just want to get healthier, that works also. The TRX adapts itself to your level, and your fitness goals.

And ladies, this isn’t just for the guys. If you don’t want big muscles, you won’t get them. You can tone and shape your figure and lose those stubborn pounds that never seem to come off. You see, you must do some form of strength training if you are trying to lose weight. It is the only way to lasting weight loss. Believe me.
