I can’t wait to cook eggrolls!!!
That is so weird. We crave egg rolls too! They are yummy! So glad your family likes them. My son Lars loves them too! The crunch factor is like WOW!
okay. I ran to the store today and grabbed the ingredients. I made your egg rolls and some fried rice. They were a big hit. The family loved them. We were craving egg rolls yesterday, so which is why I decided to try this recipe today. They were so yummy. Thanks again.
They are yummy, and cabbage is soooo good for you! Since the egg rolls are not cooked for very long, the cabbage is not overdone when you serve them. Of course, the other good part is that cabbage and egg roll wrappers are cheap to buy! You can easily get a few meals out of them, cause you make a lot. They are also excellent reheated. Oh, you can also make potato rolls with leftover mashed potatoes. Excellent!
WOW…Looks yummy, I need to try these. Thanks for the rescipe.
You could also add juliened carrots, mung bean sprouts and a bit of ginger to the cabbage mix
Sesame oil is going to be too strong to use. (at least the ones I’ve used) These are so good! Lars and I have these every Thursday night with a salad. Its the one meal every week that we really look forward too. They are very cheap to make too which is another good reason why I like them alot. lol The reason that I use cold pressed Olive Oil is because it’s heart and cholesterol healthy for you. Fillipo Berio oil has the best light tasting regular olive oil I’ve ever had. Try it.
If i were using sesame oil, about how much to use?
I think I may try to make them tomorrow. thanks
They are really good! The crunch factor is wow! You can always add meat to the cabbage too or other vegetables if you like. One of my girlfriends added shrimp to the ones she made and said they were absolutely delicious. You can also make potato rolls too. Just use mashed potatoes and add garlic, bell peppers or onions lightly browned in butter to them. Roll them and cook them the same way as these egg rolls. They are especially good served with red meat.
Those look great! Thank you!
