No, that is bollocks. Casein in is milk/cheese most dairy product.
you are getting confused with extreme intake of protein, which can damage the liver. But I’m talking LOTS of protein.

Casein specifically will not harm anything.

She should use casein.

WTF is this woman doing?

This is a nutritional blunder!

You should go to bed on an empty stomach! You will sleep better if your digestive system is not working!

If your going to eat something before bed eat fruit! It is digested very quickly!

Also, whey is full of lactose and casein. Stay away from it!

Now eating protein before bed is just plain STUPID.

If you like your body stay away from casein.

Google the china study.

she probably just lives in australia

You shouldn’t eat just before you sleep, that’ll make you have trouble sleeping. Something to do with the digesting i guess, kinda hard to relax just after eating. Have to wait a moment.

casein is better to drink before bed, it’s a slow digesting protein and keeps your metabolism working while you sleep…

Want2GetFreeStuff November 17, 2009 at 9:04 am

cool

Tetragagaca November 17, 2009 at 9:18 am

Your right, I like to stick to Nautral food like eggs or lean chicken.

Yeah sugar/carbs/fruit = bad with protein @ night

Tetragagaca November 17, 2009 at 9:45 am

Its best to stay clear of carbs, the usual 2-3 hours.
But for atheletes, bodybuilder, and people in general it good to have some slow digesting protein, like beef, chicken and eggs. The protein will stay in your system for most of the night and not starving your body.

It basically the same idea as “Don’t skip breakfast” as your trying to reduce the “fast” period. This will prevent your body to go into starve mode and then binge mode and store fat.

alexplot November 17, 2009 at 10:36 am

Yeah… Most of the protein meal replacement powders contain fiber and algae extracts to slowly release the contents of the formula.

this chick couldnt find her ass with both hands a flashlight.

jreily88 November 17, 2009 at 11:31 am

Wouldn’t you want something that dissolves slowly, instead of quickly. I’ve looked at creatine, which alot of people don’t recommned, but this one is made by Optimum Nutrition, it’s all natural, and it is slow dissolving, which they say is ideal for bed.
